What is RMBS?
legacy | history | the executive | school of business
Canada's longest-running and most prestigious student-organized business conference, the Rocky Mountain Business Seminar has a 46-year history of connecting speakers and business representatives from across North America with students pursuing a future in commerce. RMBS allows for education outside the classroom, giving students the chance to learn not only from today's experienced business leaders, but also through networking with peers from across North America. Corporate representatives, alternatively, have the prospect for recruitment among the delegates, combined with the opportunity to meet and learn from other business leaders. This unique partnership with the business community allows the Rocky Mountain Business Seminar its continued success.
RMBS Objectives:
- To enhance the education of Canadian business students beyond the classroom
- To allow U of A business students to network with and learn from fellow business students across North America
- To enable students to network with members of industry from a possible recruitment perspective in addition to an educational learning experience
- To maintain and continue our tradition of being not only the longest-running student organized business conference in Canada, but the best student conference in terms of prestige, value and experience
