 Meaghan Dinneen, Chairperson

Meaghan is a fourth year Marketing student.  She is extremely excited to be attending the conference for the third time, second time being on the executive.  Along with school and RMBS, Meaghan also works for the Alberta Government.  She is passionate about traveling - she intends to travel extensively throughout her life.  She enjoys listening to music, skiing, and two-stepping!  Her ultimate vision for the future is to work with an organization that she's passionate about and where she will be challenged everyday.  She encourages all the delegates to embrace the opportunities presented at RMBS and to have an unbelievable week!  The memories created will be amazing.  

Alan Hu, Vice Chairperson

Alan is a third year business student with a majoir in accounting and a minor in marketing.  This is the second time that Alan will be at RMBS, having attended as a delegate the first time.  Excited to attend the conference from a new perspective, Alan is looking forward to RMBS 2012 and the new memories that will be made.  Alan is also involved with the School of Business as an executive on the Next Generation Leadership Club.  Alan also has a passion for entrepreneurship, and is the co-founder of his web based company, iDealCampus.  Even with a busy schedule, Alan still manages to spend time every week with his role models, including Ted Mosby, Sheldon Cooper, Gregory House, Peter Bishop and more!  Alan's vision for RMBS 2012 is to completely shatter all expectations and have all 108 delegates leave the conference with their jaws still dropped!  See you at RMBS 2012!

Raymond Luu, Vice President Finance

 Raymond is a fourth year business student majoring in Accounting.  He is currently working at the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) on Co-op and plans to pursue the Chartered Accountant designation when he graduates.  Raymond is also involved with the Cooperative Education Student Association (CESA), where he helped plan the 7th Annual Top of Class Dinner.  Outside of school and work, Raymond likes to follow Dragon's Den and How I Met Your Mother.  RMBS 2012 will be Raymond's second appearance at the conference and he is very excited to meet each and every single one of you!  Raymond's vision is to open his own business in the future.   

Mark Husband, Vice President External

Mark is a 3rd year business student at the University of Alberta, majoring in Finance.  Mark enjoys traveling and learning about how people from different cultures live.  He is fascinated by the world of finance, especially as the global economy become ever more interdependent.  Mark enjoys listening to music and playing tennis in his spare time, as well as reading the annual reports of various corporations (fun stuff).  Mark joined the RMBS 2012 organizing team to become more involved in the School of Business, and would encourage you to become more involved as well - he thinks it is a great experience.  Mark hopes to make both career and lifelong connections through RMBS.  In the future, Mark wants to use what he learned in school to improve the lives of people in developing countries.  Mark and his team handle partnership with the Canadian business community for RMBS, and he is excited to be able to engage business leaders with today's students.  

Jae Cornelssen, Associate External

Jae is currently in his fourth year of studies with a major in accounting, and a minor in Operations Management.  This year the theme of the conference is "Your Vision, Your Future."  For Jae, this encapsulates eventually becoming a CFO, and possibly opening a business.  Besides volunteering and hanging out with friends, Jae enjoys playing sports and piano.  Upon graduation Jae is planning to travel to see the world, and travel to Southeast Asia.  Jae is extremely excited to meet all the delegates and would like to welcome everyone to one of the best reading weeks of their lives!

Lauren Briske, Associate External

Lauren is a third year Business Co-op student with a major in Accounting.  She is currently on her second work term at Ernst & Young and plans on obtaining her CA designation after graduation.  Apart from her love of debits and credits and RMBS, Lauren has a wide range of interests from hockey to classical music to attending the occasional Wing Wednesday.  Lauren's ultimate vision for her future is being in a place where she is excited to wake up every, is constantly experiencing new things, and is surrouned by people she loves.  If that place hapens to be somewhere on a beach laying in a hammock with a cold beverage in hand, then so be it.  Lauren is incredibly excited for more people to experience the awesomeness of RMBS - have an amazing week!

Amanda Sawatzky, Vice President Public Relations

As a third year marketing major, Amanda has embraced the business lifestyle and commonly considers the School of Business her second home.  Amanda attended RMBS for the first time last year, loved the conference, and looks forward to seeing you all there this year!  Having played community soccer for over ten years of her life alongside various other sports, Amanda endeavors to live as active and balanced of a lifestyle as she can possibly make time for.  Amanda's vision for life is that if you approach any situation with enough enthusiasm and positivity you can overcome whatever obstacles you may encounter.  RMBS is a chance to show students and business leaders alike the unique individual that you are, and Amanda encourages all 2012 delegates to make the most of their experience this year!

Paige Helwig, Associate Public Relations

Paige is currently in her fourth (but not final) year at the University of Alberta, working towards a major in Marketing.  RMBS 2012 will be her second time enjoying all that the conference has to offer.  Paige is also on the Organizing Committee for JDC West 2012, working towards hosting the best Yukigassen tournament ever.  Outside of school Paige enjoys taking in cinema, as well as spending time with friends and family.  Paige's vision is to see all of you having an awesome time at RMBS 2012.  Although this is a given, Paige takes pleasure in envisioning a future in which all RMBS Delegates walk away completely and utterly satisfied.  

Franca Brodett, Vice President Events 

Franca is in her final year in BComm. finishing her degree with a major in Marketing and a minor in Retail.  RMBS 2012 is her second year participating in the conference, and she can't wait to rock your socks off with the fantastic evening events she has planned.  Franca is also a member of the executive on the University of Alberta Marketing Association (UAMA) as their Vice President of Professional Relations.  When not immersing herself with school activities, she enjoys soccer and painting.  Her enthusiastic, creative personality was definitely a highlight from last year's conference as she attended as a delegate, and this year she'll be going out with a bang!  Buckle up delegates, RMBS 2012 is going to be one heck of a ride!
